Staying Salty

A Life Rooted in Faith & Flavor

Hi, I’m Tabitha, the heart behind The Salty Harvest. I grew up in rural Arkansas, where my passion for wholesome cooking, marketing, and farming was first ignited. For me, food is more than just what’s on the table – it’s about the journey of our food and the connection that enjoying a meal together brings.

This verse has always been close to my heart, reminding me of the importance of living out my faith daily and being a light to the world. To me, “staying salty” means keeping my life full of purpose, grounded in truth, and seasoned with the love of Christ.

Just like salt brings out the best in food—enhancing flavors and making each ingredient shine—my goal with The Salty Harvest is to live out my faith by bringing out the best in everything I do, from the farm to the kitchen. Every recipe I create is a reflection of how small, simple things (like a pinch of salt or a heartfelt act of kindness) can make a big impact. I hope that through sharing these recipes, I’m not only helping you create delicious, wholesome meals but also encouraging you to find joy and gratitude in the everyday blessings.

Now, let’s talk about another side of being “salty”—the modern twist! Well, I’m no stranger to that either! I have a big personality and like to keep things fun, real, and a little over-the-top sometimes. Whether I’m throwing together a recipe with a bold twist or cracking jokes while sharing life stories, I try to keep everything as flavorful as possible.

Here at The Salty Harvest, I’m embracing every meaning of “salty”—whether it’s being a light to others, enhancing the food we share, or adding a little extra spice to life. And I hope you’ll join me in celebrating the everyday moments that make life (and meals) truly satisfying.
